In a Forward Bend

Strange name for the photo? If you look carefully, you will see two colleagues from the spring expedition to Madeira, bending in the forward, trying to catch a composition in Fanal – a misty photographic paradise on a beautiful mountain plateau.

Last expedition we were very lucky to have beautiful weather, but we did not even come across the fog in Fanal. This year was so much better. Twice we enjoyed dense fog and the photographically perfect gloomy weather, while the sun was still shining on the beaches.

By the way, one of the reasons why I have a two-meter tripod is so that I am not forced to stand in a similar unflattering position when shooting ????
