Trilled Songs of Heaven Bird

The first panorama from a highly successful photo expedition to Lofoten. Out of five nights, we witnessed the Northern Lights three times, but it was only on this particular night that we were fortunate enough to experience a second-degree geomagnetic storm. This allowed us to marvel at an incredible spectacle overhead for over five hours.

The photo has been awarded Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards 2016 in Los Angeles, at Tokyo International Foto Awards 2016 (TIFA), at International Photographer of the Year in London, at Fine Art Photography Awards in London, at The Gala Awards – 10th Pollux Awards 2017, Gold Medal at the Moscow International Foto Awards 2017 (MIFA) and Silver Medal at European Professional Photographer of the Year 2018.
