Under the Tuscan Sky

Due to low intensity of light pollution, night sky is very photogenic in Tuscany. The only challenge is to combine shooting with wine tastings happening mostly at late hours :) This is a vertical panoramic shot of the famous Tuscan patch of cypress.

The photo has been awarded 2× Honorable Mention at “The International Photography Awards” 2019 in Los Angeles, Honorable Mention at “Budapest International Foto Awards” 2019 and Silver Medal at “Moscow International Foto Awards” 2020 in Moscow.

Panorama compiled from total of 11 frames (8 exposures of stars in two rows, 3 stacked and averaged landscape exposures in the third row).
