Whispers of the Arctic Night

Our photo expedition to the Norwegian Lofoten Islands in winter 2024 has just ended (March), and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Despite initial weather forecasts, we were fortunate enough to witness the stunning Northern Lights for the last three nights of the trip. The most memorable moment of the entire photo tour came on our final night before heading to the airport. On Sunday, March 3, the Aurora Borealis appeared early, right after sunset. However, based on the solar wind speed and Bz data, we didn’t expect anything extraordinary. But just two hours later, everything changed. The sky lit up with one of the most vibrant and colorful displays of the Aurora I’ve ever seen—an incredible sight I’ve only witnessed a few times in my life.

If you missed this year's photo workshop, don’t worry! We have exciting plans for more photo tours to the Lofoten Islands. Join us for our upcoming autumn photography tours in 2024 and 2025, where you’ll have another chance to capture the breathtaking beauty of this amazing destination. Book your spot early for the next photo expedition and experience the magic of the Lofoten Islands for yourself!
