Journey into Oblivion

One of the iconic views captured at Pico do Arieiro during our recent photo expedition (photography tour). This time, it's a stunning panoramic shot with an angle of roughly 180 degrees. I must admit, it wasn’t the easiest shoot. While the weather was perfect, the constant flow of people in front of the lens presented a real challenge. Many visitors were kind enough to step aside or move out of the frame when asked politely, but dealing with some so-called 'Instagram stars' with their few hundred followers proved more difficult. They were determined to take their sunset selfies right in front of my camera. Despite this, a bit of gentle assertiveness paid off, and the shoot was ultimately a success.

Panorama compiled from total of 220 frames (5-level exposure bracketing of 38 frames in three rows, 30 antireflective frames).
