In the Land of White Trees

Sunsets at Pico Ruivo have always been some of my favorites. I’m particularly drawn to the way the white tree trunks stand out against the backlighting, paired with the stunning valley inversions below. Unfortunately, for two years in a row, our expeditions couldn’t reach Pico Ruivo due to road reconstruction. However, this year, we finally had the chance to return, and we made the most of it. Each visit rewarded us with incredible conditions, making the wait well worth it. And we will definitely return here with another photo expedition in the spring of 2025.
